Special Notes: Per Tom Schot, "This is the only complete set I have. (He is referring to the 6 disc set for this tournament, and it may be the only complete set in existence) The mold was designed by Ken Westerfield and was financed by Tom Schot and George Maple. It was the 1st disc made by players to compete with Wham-O. To bad it didn't fly to good. Brand-X took the mold and made many discs. We opened the doors for many other players to start their own companies, Jan Sobel, Dave Dunipace, etc. I don't think enough credit has gone to this effort. I'm glad this set is now in the museum" This disc was generously donated to the FDM by Tom Schot. Tom was an important pioneer in the growth of disc sports in California. He produced and ran many of the largest disc tournaments in the country and enjoyed a stellar reputation for his events.
