Special Notes: The prototype discs came with a small nipple on the bottom and that was not desirable for what PF was looking to accomplish, so this style was replaced with the "First Runs", which had a smooth bottom and no nipple. The problem with the first run was silicone would not adhere to the bottom so the Second, and final run features an etched bottom with no nipple. You can tell the Second run by the dull finish on the bottom. Several dozen blanks sat in their original shipment boxes for almost 40 years. John decided to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his company by taking the original blank discs and having them hot stamped. The artwork was done by Tom Hamilton. The photo is of Tracy Blood and was placed on the disc 3 times along with the Z to represent the ZZZ flyer. Disc is part of the John Bird collection.
