Special Notes: Illustrated by Sergius Hruby (1869–1943) who was a renowned Austrian symbolist painter, graphic artist, and illustrator in the art nouveau style. This card with a "Happy New Year!" caption in German bears a German postage stamp that was issued 1941–1950. Another example found by Sami Loukko lacks the caption and bears an earlier stamp dating the card to 1911 (likely the card's first printing). The illustration shows three young women holding round, flat discs and positioned as if they are tossing them playing some sort of game. More research is needed to determine the nature of the game!
