Special Notes: The Allen and Ginter Tobacco Company first released their "World Champions" trading cards in 1887 inside their cigarette packs. They featured various athletes, personalities, historical figures and other oddities in their sets. They became instantly collectable and are considered among the first ever trading cards. Topps revived the Allen and Ginter brand in 2006 with a mostly baseball set, but included other non-baseball subjects as a nod to it's roots. The sets include several variations of "mini" cards with dimensions of the original tobacco cards. The 2010 set included Avery Jenkins, which marks the first time a disc golfer was included in a major sports card brand's release. This variation is nearly identical to the standard mini version except that the card number is not listed on the back. This card has been graded a 9 by Beckett Grading Services
