Special Notes: Backstory in an email from Jim Boggio to Bruce Wilk on 8/5/2026: In 2007 I was a year away from retiring from the Air Force. So, although I have my share of stories, most aren't frisbee related. It's been a blast learning and sharing history. My dad of course was highly involved and one of my best friends, Tom Healy is the son of Tim Healy who died in the fall of 1968. The 2011 .pdf "Book" came about because my brother Rich nominated my dad for the Hall of Fame and to summarize the response, it was basically... "who the hell is he?" So, we dug in and got dad talking and he turned over all his files and memorabilia to me. It all went back on a shelf (or literally into the attic) after he won the inaugural Bradshaw award. I dug it out this past spring when Dave Brown unexpectedly contacted me for more info about dad. I took the time to reformat the book and add some additional info. The original Hard Cover was done by a friend of a friend who was publishing out of their garage. There were only 20 copies printed and, to my surprise, they condensed all the large pictures into tiny photos inside the front and back covers. So, it's gratifying to finally fix that, and now to share the story and some of the documents and photos where they will be preserved is just so great!
