Special Notes: This artifact is a very early letter from the IFA to Ed Headrick, the general manager of Wham-O, informing him of the arrival of his Charter Member gold card and his soon to be arriving Master proficiency level gold card. The letter was signed by Robert Werden. The FDM does not know if there was ever a specific gold card made strictly for Charter members. In the following photo, there is an example of a gold card, signed by Robert Werden, that may in fact be the card referenced in the letter. That said, it does say Frisbee Master. We know that by late 1968 Harvey J. Kukuk had taken over for Robert as the IFA ED and there is another example of the gold card belonging to Ed that is signed by Harvey. That card could be his actual Master proficiency card.
