Special Notes: The IFA was established in 1967 to "serve as a central communications forum to strengthen the bonds among FRISBEE players everywhere". In 1968, the IFA established Proficiency standards. "Within the IFA there will be four classifications of members-Novice, Amateur, Expert and Master."

This is a follow up letter to Dan Roddick from Harvey J. Kukuk regarding a Pennsylvania State Championship Tournament. Also of note in this letter was an inquiry regarding the number of IFA members. As of February 4, 1969 there were 24,076 IFA members of which 208 were rated Amateur, 88 were expert, and 28 were Master. We know that Dan joined the IFA in early 1968 as his original membership card is signed by ED Robert Werden.
