Special Notes: Wham-O purchased C.P.I. (Continental Promotions Inc.) in 1978. This acquisition was significant because C.P.I. had developed the "All Star Saucer Tosser" flying disc, which was widely used by disc enthusiasts at the time. By buying C.P.I., Wham-O gained the rights to the mold used for this disc and could further innovate and develop their own Frisbee products, contributing to the growth of flying disc competition. this CPI Giant Saucer is an early version of Wham-O after the purchase. The CPI logo was removed from the top.
