Special Notes: Two paper plates clamped together by a pressed metal ring. U.S. Patent No. 2,125,793 by S.P. Co. printed on the disc is for the 1937 patent for the paper plate, not this saucer. Disc historian, Bill Wagnon, reported in October 2020 that he came across an ad by Carter & Gilles Toyland in a December 1952 issue of the Britt Tribune out of Forest City, Iowa. The ad stated that, "This colorful toy FREE to every boy and girl visiting Toyland, accompanied by an adult!" Rare.
