Special Notes: Made of "Tuffy," a then popular, highly durable, and impact-resistant plastic made by the Celluloid Co., a division of the Celanese Corp., which has has warped and became brittle over time due to outgassing. Molded by Southern California Plastic Company (SCP).
The marketing deal between Warren Franscioni and Al Capp's organization (who produced the labels on top) fell through and few discs were actually sold. 1,600 found by Roger Barrett in 1977 packed in sawdust in their original cartons. The large italicized "Flyin-Saucer" script on top was removed to create a flat surface for the paper label to adhere to. Same script on bottom of disc as FS1.
