Special Notes: This disc shows the progression of the production of the Regular. This iteration shows the addition of the word Wham-O and the ® after Frisbee in raised letters on the front of the disc. The disc does not have any T.M. script and still lacks the patent number. The Copyright text shows Pat. Pend and has been changed slightly from the 2A mold. The tooling is improved, but the word Wham-O no longer aligns with the text above it. This disc was packaged in what is believed to be the first retail packaging created by Wham-O for the Regular. The slip sheet that is included in the package had Pat. Pend. on the front while the subsequent slip sheet is exactly the same except Pat. Pend is removed and U.S. Pat 3359678 is added. That would indicate, as of 7/29/2022 that this is the first packaged US Regular.
