Special Notes: In a May 13, 1957 article in Sports Illustrated it was noted that, "The Keebler Biscuit Co. of Philadelphia has been making a prototype of the Frisbee for years, possible without knowing that it was doing so. Long ago picnickers and beachgoers learned that the lid from a large tin can of Keebler crackers could be made to skim and hover exactly as Frisbees do, and so a game called Keebler Can was invented."
